Senoia, Georgia -- Late Model hot shoe Bubba Pollard of Senoia, Georgia has entered this weekend's 31st Annual World Classic 150 for Super Late Models at Montgomery Motor Speedway in Montgomery, Alabama. "We were able to secure Lynch Tree Service out of Tennessee as a sponsor for this event which will enable us to run the World Classic," said Pollard. "I am really excited about running with the Southern Super Stars at Montgomery." The 1/2 mile oval was recently resurfaced and Pollard has already performed a tire test at the facility.

The World Classic, which began in 1978 at Birmingham International Raceway, is searching for a new home since BIR was torn down this season. The World Classic, currently sanctioned by the Southern Super Star Super Late Model Series, ran a majority of its races at BIR but has also been held at Peach State Speedway (now Gresham Motorsports Park) and Mobile International Speedway when it was sanctioned by the now defunct Southern All Stars Asphalt Series.
