
Senoia, Georgia -- Despite an 11th place finish in Sunday's Alabama 200 at South Alabama Speedway, Bubba Pollard was able to win the Triple Bonus money with his wins at Five Flags Speedway and Mobile International Speedway the previous weekend. Pollard qualified on the pole in the Pitboxes.com/HRI/RRonnie Sanders Motorsports Chevy Impala and ran in the top 3 for the first 138 laps. Under caution, Pollard was hit by another racer, damaging his car. Pollard went to the pits for repairs and returned to the speedway several laps down. Pollard was able to battle back for the eleventh place finish
Pollard also competed in the "Run What You Brung" Open Modified event and finished 2nd in the Mississippi based Jimmy Hammond Motorsports open wheel racer.
Next up for Pollard Motorsports is the Miller Lite 100 for Super Late Models at Mobile International Speedway Saturday evening. The Thrifty Nickel Classifieds/Pollard Disposal Team has an opportunity to capture the Miller Lite Super Late Model Series Championship at MMS and the Gulf Coast Championship Series.
